Support » Theme: Vantage » Keeping the default "Custom Home" page but posting blog to different page

    Hello,
In the Vantage theme, I would like to keep the “Home” page that it creates, also referred to as “Custom Home page” but I would like to post the blog posts to a different page. Changing the settings in Settings->Reading to static page is not going to help as I cannot refer to the above “Custom Home page” that is created by Vantage.
    How can I accomplish this?
Thank you in advance for your time and suggestions.

  • I seem to have found a solution in “blog-in-blog” plugin. Thanks to Tim Hodson for creating this plugin!

    Hi there jankari

There’s another option. If you create a new page change its page template to Blog, that page will then display all your posts.

But if the blog-in-blog plugin works, there’s no good reason not to use that.

    Thanks Greg

    Hi Greg,

I did exactly as you said, but this didn’t work for me. Could you please help me diagnose and see what’s wrong? The new page that I created and changed the template to “blog” is at: http://www.tacl.org/tap-atl/blog/

    Thanks,
    David
