Keep old post ID when importing

    Hey there,

    I want to import a big amount of news (about 10.000) as we are moving from a self-made CMS to WordPress. Our news are well-linked in Google, so the URLs of the news should stay the same on WordPress. Our news links contain the ID of the news, so it would be important to import this ID into WordPress (meaning the new WordPress post should have the same ID as the news in our self-made CMS).

    I was wondering whether that’s possible?
