• Hi everybody,

I have a WordPress installation (version 6.6.2) and I’m using Twenty Twenty-Four Theme. I’ve installed Helvetica Neue Font and set it, to a specific Style, as the preferred font for Text, Links, Headings, Captions, Buttons. Everything is working as expected. But, if I go Back to Style Navigation and then to Style Editor again, all my font settings are lost (fall back to defaults).

    Could you please help?

  • Hey @manspan ,

After assigning the Helvetica Neue font to the different typographical elements (Text, Links, Headings, etc..), did you save such changes to the Global Styles? You can do so by clicking the “Save” button in the top right corner of the screen, above the Global Styles sidebar. When doing so, you should see a confirmation message confirming that you’re applying changes to the Typography styles.

    hi,

As you can see in the left side of the picture below, I’ve set the Font and saved the settings. When I come back to Style Editor, everything is set to defaults (right side).

Got it. It would be very useful to get some additional information to help with reproducing this issue. For example, can you reproduce the same issue on a clean WordPress 6.6.2 install with the Twenty Twenty-Four theme?

If not, you may want to disable all plugins and enable them one by one, in the chance that a specific plugin is causing this issue.

I have added the font by using a plugin and it’s working now. If I have time in the future I’ll try to reproduce the issue.
