• I’m using ShopMaster to upload products to WooCommerce. It worked like a charm…till I installed Gutenberg. Product transfers from ShopMaster to WooCommerce became simply impossible.
    I deactivated Gutenberg. Nothing changed.
Well after hours of trying to make it work, I gave up. I installed one of my backups. And it worked properly.
Just to be sure that the problems came from Gutenberg, I reinstalled it too.
Well the problems started right away.
Now I’m back with my backup and I will never ever want to have anything to do with Gutenberg.
I didn’t really test it out, but from the few tests I did I figured out that it makes everything more complicated and slows down the work progress. Why Gutenberg? There are some other Editor Plugins, which are by far better than Gutenberg. Actually they too slow down the work process, but at least they are easy to handle and by far more flexible.
Actually, if you use WordPress in combination with WooCommerce, you don’t need such editor. Learn the basics of CSS. That will let you adapt your theme to your wishes without slowing down your site. Because one thing is for sure: Gutenberg will slow down your page. And don’t try to convince me of the opposite. It’s a fact: ALL advanced editors slow down your site. Well, maybe Gutenberg will not. Because it’s not a very advanced editor!
My suggestion: Keep Gutenberg as a Plugin. And keep WordPress as a simple and fast running program for use with plugins.
Thanks and have a nice day!

Why do you rate this Plugin with 5 of 5 Stars if you dont like it?

Because I didn’t see that the default was 5 stars. I’m used that the default is 1 star. Well, thanks for mentioning it to me.
