• I set up a sticky post I’d like to show all the time, as a “welcome to this site” for visitors. The thing is, I need that sticky post to keep the format I chose, and show images with the Facebook and Twitter logo that link to FB and TW and an image of an envelope that leads to a new page with a contact form.
All shows perfectly when the user clicks on the post: http://snag.gy/kE5LG.jpg
But the home page only shows the unformatted, image-less, link-less excerpt: http://snag.gy/Sd2tP.jpg

Is there a way to have all the formatting and the images with their links showing in the excerpt of this sticky post in the home page?

I’ll need to revisit the excerpt function for this one – will need to add an option or two to get it working the way you envision.

May take a couple of days to get the function going together with other TODO things I’m working on at the moment – an updated version will uploaded as soon as I get everything sorted out.

    Thanks, Zulf 🙂
By the way, I found kind of a workaround: I made the home page a static page, and added all the info from that sticky post to a page that I used as a home. It doesn’t show the rest of the posts below it, but at least it has the important info I needed on the home page, with images and everything.
