Hi – just created a page after installing the plugin with two shortcodes in it:

    [kbs_search]
    [kbs_articles]

Unfortunately the search function does NOT only return results from the articles custom post type – it also returns some posts of my default post tpye despite the search url looks like:
    ?s=restaurant&post_type=article&ignore_sticky_posts=1&order_by=relevance

Any way to fix this issue? THX

Hi – cant send you a link, my site is not public. But put the shortcode into a page and try to reproduce it by creating a default post with “restaurant” as title and another KB Support Article with the same title and search for “restaurant” – or did you try already?

    Hi @evalast,

I tested this on my end and I was not able to reproduce this behaviour.

It might be an issue caused by a plugin or your theme.
I recommend installing this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/
After you install and activate the above plugin it has a Troubleshooting mode which allows you to have a vanilla WordPress session, where all plugins are disabled, and a default theme is used, but only for your user – your visitors will still see the normal website.

Go to its troubleshoot mode and only activate KB Support and see if it works correctly with a default WordPress theme (Twenty Twenty-One for example) and no other plugins.

Please let me know how it goes and what you find!

    Warm regards,

    Beatrice.
