Hi. Newbie Gute User here. Having crazy, hard time figuring this out:
The problem: I’m using Kadence Row Layout > Prebuilt Library > Split Call to Action.
The Image will not show up after successfully creating two of the same blocks.
    Weird yeah.

    What I’ve done:
    1. Cleared all cache, optimized database
    2. Duplicated the block that shows the image, no luck the new image will not show.
Note: All images are the same size.
    3. Setting size: Full at 50%, left alignment.

I’ve spent over 2-hours trying to find a solution. Open to any suggestions. In the meantime I will continue to trouble shoot.

  • UPDATE: Now this is more confusing.
Chrome for Mac > Developer > Inspect Elements > The missing images will now show up.
When I do a Republish they disappear.

Semi Good news: the images show up on Safari even after re-publishng. So I’m thinknig this maybe a Chrome problem, even though I tossed cookies and cache. ;).

Will continue to figure if Chrome Mac is in fact the problem.

    Hello,

Sorry you’re having issues with this! Can you please post a link to where you’re setting this up so that I can take a look at how it’s being output?

Are you changing out the image with one on your site or are you just using the one from prebuilt?

    Ben

    @ Kevin & @ Ben
Thank you both for your reply. I’ve decided to not use the prebuilt library. I instead used a two column layout and then used an image from my photo library for the left column and formated the text on the right column along with a newly formatted button.

The result: No prolems. The images don’t disappear. And all I need to do is duplicate that ‘two-row column’ for the different images and text I’ll use.

Sorry to have troubled you. Please consider the problem solved.

@ben. If in the future I decide to use a prebuilt block I’ll contact you. To answer your question, I was using images from my media library. Please note the three images I used were all the same, they were all opitimized. The problem was the third image wouldn’t stick, only when viewed on Chrome for Mac. The picture showed up using Safari, so I’m thinking the problem might be Chrome related.

    Hi Ben,
    First. The problem is solved!
Solution: I deleted the problem images from the webpage AND the Media File, then em re-uploaded. Working fine now. Sorry, I should have updated this post.

Thank you for your offer to help. But I believe that Kadence wasn’t the problem after all. It was some weird-Media-file conflict.

Kadence & images show up fine! \(*<>*)/
