K2 and shopping cart

Using Shopping cart 3.5 RC6. I have K2 theme, wordpress 2.2.

Just cant get this plugin to work, problems with cart location and categories and brand display

Cart location, when set to :
page – no display
sidebar – display in Header
widget – too wide for sidebar, makes sidebar display below posts when browsing IE
manual – no display

Categories and brand location, when set to:
page- displays [productspage]
manual – no display

I’ve been trying to set this up for two weeks, now, Im just sick of it, K2 is a pretty common theme, I’d thought it to be supported.
