you offer a plugin without 1 gateway not even paypal!

The Free Edition DOES NOT use any payment gateway such as PayPal, Authorize.net, Chronopay, Versapay, Eway, Paypoint, Firstdata, or Payment Express. To add payment gateway integration you will need to buy our Standard Edition Here and get a registration code from us through our s

The ability to use the free edition for a production store can use the manual payment system. Essentially orders are placed into your order system and you can invoice your customers using any method you choose.

If you would like to upgrade to payment gateways that are active and live, then certainly the $99 dollar plugin charge isn’t to steep. We feel if people plan to use the store to make money in a business, a $99 dollar investment is mild at best.

I know a lot of folks want a good e-commerce system in wordpress, but it does need to somehow be paid for in construction. It’s just not feasible for most companies to build an entire e-commerce system for free.

its a waist of time. anyway there are others that at least give you something to start with. it should be removed

Given the sheer investment in time & resources that it takes to build a gateway module, the charge is not unreasonable. As the plugin developer has stated, the plugin is fully functional without an automated payment gateway, so it will not be removed from the Plugin Repository on this basis.

Have you considered trying one of the other ecommerce plugins?

i tried them all took my a week to go through them all. none of them offer shipping price per item without having to spend around 100 bucks for the addon

If you are looking for shipping price or options based on a product, you could perhaps use an option set. call it ‘shipping’ and the user can select which shipping option they like per product. The price would be adjusted per product level as per the users choice.

As an admin, you would see it in the order for each product which shipping the user selected.

Don’t know if it solves your issue, but just a suggestion.
