    Just works perfectly. Only critical thing I can think of is the obligation to have credit cards preselected and on top of the payment methods display on the checkout page. Which for many local people implies an extra action to select the right payment method, I would prefer to be able to shorten this route.

    Thanks for sharing your experience with WooCommerce Stripe. I’m glad to hear it’s a positive one.

    I completely understand your point about credit cards being preselected at checkout. For stores where local payment methods are more commonly used, having customers make an extra selection can feel unnecessary. At the moment, Stripe sets cards as the default option, and there isn’t a built-in way to change the order or default selection from the plugin settings.

    Your feedback is genuinely appreciated. It would also be great to have you add your ideas to the Feature Requests page, which is where developers go to look for future plugin features and improvements, and our users can vote for requests.

    Hi there, I have to adjust my criticism, I was misinformed by your colleague in another recent support thread, it seems I CAN preselect other payment methods as long as they are put on top. 🙂

    Hi there,

    Thanks for getting back to us and sharing your solution. With the Optimized Checkout Suite option disabled, you can indeed reorder the payment methods and have the default option at the top.
