Support » Plugin: Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth » Just updated jetpack and my site disappeared

  • I now only get an error message that says “Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute.” I am completely freaking out. I do not have a recent backup of my site, and just registered here a few minutes ago. I have had jetpack for some time and there was a message that said there was a problem, so I went in and updated. Now what? Please help. site name gorillaanimation.com

Ugg…now it appears the site is back, but when I view my sites in wordpress.com, several of them have a red strip at the bottom that says “jetpack problem.” Gorillaanimation now shows up several times in wordpress,com/sites and many of my other sites have the same jetpack problem message with the red strip. What is up?

Can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site?

    1) Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2) Click on the Debug link appearing at the bottom of the page.
    3) Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4) Fill in the description box and your name and email address.
    5) Click the “Contact Support” button.

    Thanks!
