# just started – big problem

 * I registered on wordpress.org and now later the same day I go to download Worpress
   4.0 and it says if you don’t know what to do with the download go the the create
   a free blog page instead. So I do that because that’s actually what I wanted 
   from the start. When I try to create a free blog it says my e-mail address already
   exists. Well, yes of course it does …. it’s me! So I can’t use my e-mail address
   because I’ve already used it to register on wordpress.org. So how do I get around
   this please. Can I de-register from .org and start afresh just signing up for
   a free blog. That’s all I want. I don’t want anything complicated. Blogger is
   so much easier than this I have to say where you can get a free blog and start
   blogging immediately. Now I’ve wasted a whole day and it’s now 8pm at night and
   I think I won’t get this thing off the ground today.

 * You will not be able to un-register here, but maybe go to wordpress.com and try
   a password reset to see what happens. I am not aware of any kind of e-mail address
   conflicts or exchanges of that kind of information between here and there, so
   maybe at some time in the past you had registered an account at wordpress.com
   as a user at someone else’s site and now you already have an account there…and
   if so, I believe you will be able to use it to do what you wish to do.
