Just see a directory list, and install.php returns…

  • Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL which is required for WordPress.

I’m a bit new with this jazz. But I have MySQL up and I know works (I’m using hMailServer, which works fine). I also just installed PHP with Apache 2.2.4. The tutorial located here does not go over installing PHP for wordpress, so I’m a bit at a loss here.

Also, when I go to http://www.geekbocks.com/blog <- where my WordPress files are, I just got a directory listing, no page loads telling me to install. 🙁

Is there more information which I could supply that would make this a bit easier to figure out? I’m hosting the website myself if that matters, and do most (all) my configuring via remote desktop.

Just got here. I’m no SQL expert, but let me go to your URL first, okay? Check your config file to make sure your install is using the right pathways and connections to the MySQL.

It’s up and running. I see it just fine.

Yep, I just got it figured out. All I had to do was restart my server. *boggle*
