    The Booking Calendar free version support only default one resource.

    What do you mean by support only default one resource? Also I am having some difficulty generating the short codes for getting the appointment calendar to appear on the page?

    Hello.
    1) Its means that the Booking Calendar Free version support only one calendar (booking resources). You can check about the booking resources in the other versions of Booking Calendar here.

    2) Please read more how to insert and configure the booking shortcode into the post or page here.
