• Installed it and then learned that most anything needed was locked behind a VERY TALL paywall making the free version pretty much nothing more than just another form builder.

Another WP developer tripping over nickels to pick up a dime.

    Uninstalled.

  • Hi @mshallop,

I’m sorry that our Lite version doesn’t seem to fit your needs for now. Our team has worked hard to make sure that our free version includes everything needed to create a basic contact form.

The Standard Fields like the Single Line Text and Paragraph Text fields can be used to collect any information you’d like.

You can also set up form notifications to send out form submission details, or add users as email subscribers when you connect WPForms to Constant Contact.

Additionally, you can use the CAPTCHA integration (reCAPTCHA or hCaptcha) with any version of WPForms, including WPForms Lite. All you need to do is a bit of setup — we’ve shared all the details on that in our CAPTCHA setup doc.

If you have any suggestions for the things you’d like to see in the Lite version, please let me know and I’d be happy to share your feedback with the team.

As for our paid version, we offer different tier levels with different prices and features available. In case that is something you would like to look into, please check here.

I apologize again if none of these options may be suitable for now but we appreciate the feedback.

    Have a good one.
