Just lost my website, how to restore it?

Hello,

So here I am with my 2 websites, and I just lost one of them by restoring the files form the wrong website.

Here’s the situation;

I manage a website and I also have a dev version to work on that I migrate on the live version to update it. But sometime I need to work directly on the live one, so before starting to work I will upload my live website on the dev version, checking the redirect option box so it will change the name of the repertory to make sure it migrates with the correct name(dev.website.com)

Last update that I did, don’t ask me why, the plugin didn’t gave me the option to redirect, but I still did the update, losing my dev version.
I don’t want to format everything to restore it, do I have another simple option?
