 * Hi My website has stated getting about 60 registered users however I keep getting
   this error below.
 * I am using a JUSTHOST VPS Server
 * Warning: mysql_connect(): User USER already has more than ‘max_user_connections’
   active connections in
 * /home1/URḺ/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1549
    Error establishing
   a database connection This either means that the username and password information
   in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact
 * the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server
   is down.
 * Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    Are you sure that you
   have typed the correct hostname? Are you sure that the database server is running?
   If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host.
   If you still need help you can always visit
 * the WordPress Support Forums.

 * Hi,
 * This is likely an issue with the hosting provider. If this is a free hosting,
   then these issues are quite common. WordPress recommends some hosting providers
   which you can find here:
 * [https://wordpress.org/hosting/](https://wordpress.org/hosting/)
 * Additionally, you may want to take a look at a similar thread discussion:

 * I am using a VPS sever with Bluehost (Just host) and unfortunately the link provided
   does not give any answers.
 * Anyone else able to give a solution ?

 * Hi,
 * Ok, so good to know that you are on one of the recommended hosting providers.
   Could you just confirm with them what the max_user_connections is set to?
 * Just making sure it isn’t set to 0.

 * So if you look at
 * [https://my.bluehost.com/cgi/help/2521](https://my.bluehost.com/cgi/help/2521)
 * If you SSH into your server, then look in the /etc folder you will find a my.
   cnf file.
 * Open the my.cnf file in your favorite editor.
 * [http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.5/en/user-resources.html](http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.5/en/user-resources.html)
 * What value does it currently show as being used on max_user_connections?

 * I am getting a classroom of students to login to the website using the same login
   details. Is there something I can change to let this work without breaking?

 * So you could increase
 * max_user_connections=50
