    I use some other modules
   with curl, so it isn’t probably the issue How could we help?

 * it used to work. I changed the number of fans to display and it all stopped, 
   exactly as you say.

 * After some research,
    my issue seems to come from the twitter API limitations
   for shared hosting services. Perhaps an authentication option will be a way to
   improve this great plugin?

 * You could read the twitter dev. faq, the current discussions
    I’ve checked that
   on a local lamp and a piece of code … I’m sure of nothing due to my dev. skills,
   but the fix is somewhere around …
