    UPDATED: working, client error!

I have installed this on two websites and it never reports a single conversion. I can see that it has injected the relevant base tracking code BUT it still does nothing after checkout.

I might be missing something but both these sites were standard installs and the plugin just does nothing, sorry.

I have found that the clients had put the wrong “label” data into the plugin. Using the NAME of the conversion instead of the ID that you can extract from the conversion code that AdWords will make for you as an example.
All is working now, thank you.
However, could there be a brief explanation next to the “label” field in the admin area for the plugin so other people don’t make the same mistake when they are in a hurry.

    Hi @websanity

I don’t know what went wrong in your case, but more than 20’000 active installations prove that it does work in many cases…

There is a thankyou or purchase confirmation page where each visitor is redirected to after a successful purchase. The pixel with the cart value is injected there.

There can be many reasons why you don’t see a conversion reported in Google Ads, even though a visitor reaches the purchase confirmation page.

One could be that the visitor didn’t click on a Google ad previous to the conversion.
Also admins of the website are being excluded, as long as they are logged in while testing.

Give it another try, or send us the website and the URL of a successful purchase (purchase confirmation page), and we’ll check if everything is set as it should be.
