• Boy oh boy, do these guys know how to waste your time and money. This again is another product that has been developed half arsed.

Try to set it up as per their documentation, but it doesn’t reflect the actual plugin, because they have implemented numerous updates without properly testing. Wasted half the day today trying to get round robin working (even though it was previously). I basically updated a team members availability and bang – the wheels fell off the plugin.

Deleted, reinstalled. Nope. “No data” in the drop down. Checked their documentation again. The steps don’t have the same options (of course because they didn’t update the docs after the last update). Any way so here we go, have to lodge another support ticket. They’ll want to be able to log in to the wordpress (so you have to create an admin account for them) so they can dick around. They’ll find some stupid bug and then promise a fix. I had similar issues with subscription calculations for their fluentforms product. It’s been years and still not fixed, so don’t use the product (another waste of money).

When comparing fluent bookings to other calendar products, it might seem like a great price and good to be native in wordpress, but be aware, you’ll be in for plenty of headaches along the way, unless you want really, really basic calendar functionality.

Here is something to ponder, especially if you have a team. How would you feel if you couldn’t set or modify the availability of one of your subordinates? Guess what. You can only modify your own availability. These guys sit in some utopia…

My advice. Don’t waste your time or money on this product.

  • Hello @wmaslin,

Thank you for your feedback. We understand your frustration when things don’t function as expected, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you’ve encountered.

After reviewing your concerns both here and in our support thread, it appears there was a misunderstanding regarding the setup for the Round Robin Event. As mentioned in our support response, to create a Round Robin Event correctly, team members need to be added as hosts first before assigning them to the event. We have provided a detailed video tutorial in your support thread to guide you through the process. We hope this helps clarify the steps needed to achieve your desired outcome.

Troubleshooting site-specific issues often requires temporary access to the WordPress dashboard, as many problems can only be identified by examining the site environment directly. This practice is common across plugins and platforms to efficiently diagnose and resolve issues.

We’re aware that keeping our documentation up-to-date is crucial, and we apologize for any inconsistencies. We’re actively working on improving it to better reflect the latest updates to our plugin.

If you have any more questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’d really appreciate it if you could reconsider your review as we strive to offer the best support and solutions possible.

    Thank You

    Hello @wmaslin,

I’m Ruman Ahmed, the technical support engineer at FluentBooking. I’ve read your query and feedback both on WordPress.org and within this ticket. It seems there may have been some misunderstanding regarding the feature you asked about the team in FluentBooking.

Please note that the team feature works based on the Host calendars (and their availability set) you create on your website, not on the team members added in the Global settings. When you add a Host, this creates a corresponding team member for that Host accordingly. Therefore, the Host must be created first.

I’ve prepared a demonstration video: [https://somup.com/cZQXifmUtc] to explain how the round-robin feature for team members works and the steps you need to take before creating round-robin events. Could you kindly take a moment to watch the video? I appreciate your cooperation on this matter.

I hope this explanation provides a clear solution. If so, I kindly tell you to reconsider your review rating on WordPress Org, as we are working hard to provide the best assistance and support for our products. Your positive feedback helps us improve our support and makes our customers and us happy. I hope you understand and appreciate this matter.

    Best regards!
    Ruman Ahmed.
