Jumbled large version of post appears ahead of my post: help!

I am a newcomer who has replaced an existing post with a new version. I pasted in a stripped text version, then updated formatting. On the view it looked fine. But when I went to the web site a jammed-together, large-print version appeared ahead of my post. What to do?
