    Hello,
    I am receiving an error when opening the Theme Editor. Here are the steps and the results.
    Appearance > Editor = “The editor is unable to find a block template for the homepage.”
    Choices are Copy Error or Back to Dashboard.
    The copied error =

    json@[native code]
    promiseReactionJob@[native code]

    Can you tell me how to fix or troubleshoot this?

    I fixed it! I am sorry I should have turned off all of the plugins before posting. The fix was turning off – JetPack Boost > Defer Non-Essential JavaScript.

    Hi,

    I was getting the same error even with the official Twenty Twenty theme. The solution is to install the latest Gutenberg plugin.
