JSON file with wordpress

    I’ve just found this great timeline (great work). I can’t access google docs because it’s blocked from use so need to use the more complicated JSON method. Could someone explain how to use a custom JSON file with wordpress and this plugin. I saw a post about using your sites posts but I need it for my own information which I think is different. Any help would be most appreciated :).
