 * Hi there,
 * We are experiencing issues with the JavaScript optimizations on our website using
   Revolution Slider. It works for the majority of browsers and devices, but on
   IE 11, etc. the user sees an error message box from Revolution Slider (slider
   itself not showing).
 * Is this something that’s common and if so, is there a way to work around it?

   Currently, we have disabled JS Optimizations all together but that’s not a good
   solution as it has slowed down our website considerably.
 * We are running on the latest version of Autoptimize and WordPress.
    Looking forward
   to hearing from you.
 * Best,
    TNRFC

 * revslider is a pain to optimize really 🙂
 * try:
    * what happens with “optimize JS” on but “aggregate JS” off? * what happens
   when `js/jquery/jquery.js` and `plugins/revslider` are both in the comma-separated
   JS optimization exclusion list * make sure you don’t have other plugins doing
   JS optimization (incl. e.g. asyncing/ deferring) * checking the console for JS
   errors and see what those teach you

 * Hey [@optimizingmatters](https://wordpress.org/support/users/optimizingmatters/)
 * Sorry for the delayed response. I had tried your suggestions, unfortunately it
   didn’t really work out. I did disable optimizing JS which “resolved” the issue.
 * Obviously it slowed the site down a bit but I guess it’s a workaround for now.

   Since I haven’t updated to the new version of Autoptimize so I don’t know if
   that maybe would help to fix the issue.
 * For now, we will keep it as it is.
    Thanks for the help 🙂

 * well, while experimenting next time, check for JS errors on the browser console,
   those can help identify what the problem is and feel free to follow up here.
 * have a nice day 🙂
