  • Resolved deeholzman

    This is a great plugin, but a script generated by the plugin generates an error here:

    <script type=”text/javascript”>
    jQuery(function($) {
    var items = [];
    //set local currencies
    gtag(“set”, {“currency”: tvc_lc}); //ReferenceError: Can’t find variable: gtag

    This interferes with other scripts running on the page – is there a way to fix this error?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @deeholzman,

    Thank you for contacting us!

    We did a quick look of your store & found that you haven’t accepted the Privacy policy from the settings of the plugin. With the latest update, you need to accept the privacy policy for our plugin as per GDPR compliance. It’s available in the settings of the plugin.

    Additionally, I would like to learn you that you are using the child theme on your store. We have clearly mentioned in the description & FAQs of our plugin that the free version of our plugin is not fully compatible with the child/custom theme.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks, I accepted the privacy policy. We are using an out of the box Genesis Child theme by Studiopress, which I would think would be compatible.

    Weirdly, I unchecked the ‘include the gtag.js’ option in the settings, saved it, then went back to settings and re-selected the ‘include the gtag.js’ option, and the error resolved. It’s as if it wasn’t included at first even though the option was checked.

    thanks for your help!
