 * Entering a new event we are unable to open / select a location or organizer.
   
   De selector does not open.
 * Error in the console: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘ace/ace’ of undefined
   
   Pointing at a JS conflict. Please resolve or make loading JS scripts optional.
 * Running latest version of the Calendar and WP on PHP7

   an update since you posted that may fix this issue. Can you run the update (preferably
   on a staging server first) and see if that fixes the issue?
