• We recently hired a coder to implement a JS button which peels and reveals text on hover and click. However, the button is not clickable on iOS or any iphone device. Instead of redirect link being activated the mobile device just zooms in on the button. You can see the button at [Redacted] and it is labeled as show coupon code. We tried going the Jquery mobile route but that breaks our theme. Please share your thoughts on how this can be fixed. Thanks.

I’ve redacted that link until you remove the advert that’s attached to the “show coupon code” buttons.

We don’t strictly support your theme, plugins or modifications, but if you want support here you really shouldn’t be profiting off us.

The link to our site is only included so that others can see the problem.

How do you replicate the problem?

Replicate? The problem is defined in the first post. The button is not clickable on iOs and iPhones. Instead of triggering the button action, the click on an iPhone is zooming in and out.

So for us to explore the issue we have to click on that button, right?

The developer tried adding Jquery mobile to the header but that breaks the theme.

No. The problem is defined. If someone has encountered the same issue with JS on mobile, please share.

If you’re reading comprehension is below average then you might have to click on the button but that is not our intention.

Nope, if you want to debug the JavaScript you have to actually experience the issue first-hand.

Unless you do not know what you are doing, then you are right. Otherwise, no.

From the responses it’s apparent that you don’t want to share the link without removing the adverts. Without the link we cannot help you.

Please get into contact with the developer who built your functionality, or hire someone else: http://jobs.wordpress.net/ , http://directory.codepoet.com/ .
