JQuery migrate and WP5.6

    Plugin has not been updated in a while, so wanted to check if it uses and older version of JQuery migrate and also if it is WP 5.6 compatible?

    Hi,

    The plugin still works with WP 5.6 but I’m not exactly sure if it will once 5.7 comes in.

    WP 5.6 is basically the grace period given to the theme and plugins developers to make sure their products are compatible to the new jQuery version standard.

    jQuery migrate is reinstated temporarily in 5.6 (will be removed in 5.7) so that the plugins would still work.

    As for future plans: Tom wants to lean away towards jQuery in general by converting all the scripts on the products he develops by using plain Vanilla JS.
