JQuery Interactive Map

  • I am trying to set up an interactive map and found exactly what I want to use.
    http://winstonwolf.pl/clickable-maps/world-continents.html
This map is a way for viewers to pick what continent they are looking for installers in and when they click it, it takes them to a page with installers for the region.

I do not want a flash map, I do not want it hosted on another site. I have seen a few responses referring to iMap, but I am trying to make this as SEO friendly as possible.

I am a beginner at WordPress, so I am totally lost as to how to do this. Any help would be great. I am using the Pagelines Developer theme. Please help me, I am so frustrated right now, it’s been days of my life trying to fix this.

  • Hello Kirasahalla!
There is a plugin for wordpress that does similar thing. The visual is a bit different, but you can achieve a similar result. It is not in flash, so it’s ipad/iphone friendly also. Check out some examples and see if this would be useful: Interactive World Maps Plugin
