jquery.flexslider.js being loaded

    I am trying to optimize a site and I noticed that jquery.flexslider.js is being loaded even though I have no slider on my site. Is this normal behavior and/or is this js file necessary?

    Hi there,

    As far as I know Flexslider is called by WooCommerce as the product images/gallery uses that script to power the animations.

    To conditionally load WooCommerce assets, you’d need to use some custom coding. The following snippet might help although it likely requires some tweaking as assets have changed in the last few versions of WooCommerce: https://orbitingweb.com/blog/wp-conditionally-load-woocommerce-scripts/
