    Hello,

I recently updated the OnePress theme, and now my Hero image isn’t displaying. Using the browser’s inspect element console, I’m seeing this jquery.js error:

Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: .slider-spinner`

    Thanks,
    Trevor

  • For OnePress version 1.3.1:

I found a .slider-spinner class with a backtick in theme.js. Deleting the backtick fixed the problem:
    hero.find('.slider-spinner').remove();

Edit the theme files at your own risk!

Same problem. Updated to 1.3.1 and boom! Hero background image disappears. Hoping the developer provides a quick update to fix.

Just discovered if I turn the parallax effect off in the hero background settings then the image returns. Hope that helps to isolate the problem. Because I would like to turn the parallax effect back on 🙂

Thanks for finding this guys. It was driving me nuts!

    Thanks for the fix.

i get signaled that a plugin update is available to 1.20. When trying to update in dashboard, i get message that update package not available. i am currently running onepress plus with 1.1.7. how can i update? i have also faced same issue.

    Hi everybody,

Please update the latest OnePress 1.3.3. We have fixed already. And if someone have Plus version, please update the OnePress Plus to 1.2.0.

    Hope that helps!

    Great work guys. You rock!

how to update? thru dashboard, no package found. download from your fametheme site, already existing folder message.

Download theme from WordPress.org then upload using FTP. If you get an already existing folder message it should also offer you the option to overwrite the existing folder.

    Hope that helps

Oh sorry Jake, just looked up the page and realised you’re using the plus version. All the same, if you’re getting a folder already exists message then you should also have the option to overwrite. But I would wait for @congthien to get back.

thanks anyway for your concern. i will wait. unfortunately i do not get such an option.

@entertheraptor: do you have an idea, where to copy the new zip to when connecting by ftp?

@congthien: is there any documentation on how to update onepress plus?

    Hi Jake,

Again it’s best to take the developers advice so follow the following at your own risk but usually themes are found in /wp-content/themes/ So you would upload the zip file to that directory and then extract it. You will probably get a message that the folder and files already exist and asking do you want to overwrite them.
