# jQuery Datepicker Conflict

 * I know this was covered once before, but I believe the severity was downplayed.
   We have confirmed with the developer of GeoDirectory ([https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/geodirectory/](https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/geodirectory/))
   that Wired Impact Volunteer Management is overwriting the jQuery datepicker on
   the WordPress backend globally. This is causing a major issue for us as it changes
   the date when editing a GeoDirectory post. We have 4 websites for community associations
   that run GeoDirectory and your plugin together that we will now need to remove
   Volunteer Management from. Any chance of being able to have this fixed?

   Can you tell us specifically what issue you’re seeing when you try to use the
   datepicker on a GeoDirectory post compared to what you should be seeing? Depending
   on the severity of the issue I can’t guarantee any kind of timeframe to fix the
   issue, but we could hopefully look into it in the next few weeks.

   We think we were able to find the conflict and fix it. We’re planning to release
   an update next week that should take care of it. I’ll let you know when that 
   happens so you can update the plugin on your end.

   today that should fix the issue you were having. Would you mind updating the 
   plugin on your end and letting us know if that fixes the issue?
