Hi, first, great plugin, this is the plugin I have searched for.

I have problems with jquery. It seems that the jquery is not loaded on the single post where I add a tab, so the the effect (fading) doesn’t show up. Also prev next nav doesn’t work either. (a crash, perhaps?)
Strangely, the effect works well on plugin’s page preview.

Is there a way I can add additional jquery (external, perhaps) to the plugin’s template?
How to fix prev next nav?

    I am totally noob 🙂
    Thanks in advance

If preview works, but single post pages are not, the obvious and most likely cause is a version clash with another plugin that uses jQuery.

Of course, the theme may utilise jQuery also, so it could also be that to. A live link to a problem page could help narrow down possible causes faster but i understand lots of users(and maybe yourself) utilise local XAMP style installations, so that may not be possible.

Please test one of the default themes and also test with other plugins disabled and report back your findings please.

    Hi, Mark

    Thanks for the quick reply.

I use it on my production site, and have published the post containing the tab here:

I will also try to find possible conflicts with other plugins.

    Thanks.

    Hi,
I deactivated all plugins but the result is the same so I guess it deals with the theme I use. What modification is needed?

I see tabs on your published post, i was under the impression the tabs were not rendering on single posts. Did you do something to fix that issue or did i misunderstand previously?

The navigation buttons aren’t working however, i can at least confirm that issue for you, we’ll work on that though.. 😉

Can you tell me which options you have checked/unchecked for the plugin please?

    Hi, Mark.

The tab did work well, and does now, and I didn’t do any fix. The problems are about the effect (fade in/out), which is supposed to be appearing/playing when someone clicks the tab buttons but is not, and the nav buttons that don’t work. The fading effect appears on the plugin’s preview page when I click the tabs. I know its not essential but I like its smoothness 🙂
I thought the two problems were related to jquery (or not?) 🙂 Let me know if I’m wrong.

    Here is the options screenshot:

The only option I checked is enable tab navigation.

There’s a slight oversight in some plugin logic, enable the “Use disabled tabs” option and navigation should then work correctly.

Regarding the fade effect, i removed the show parameter(that is used in the preview) from the tabs rendered on the front end as it is my intention to later add support for users to define their own settings for the tab switching effects.

Time permitting, i’ll try and get this in as an option in the next version.

    Hope that helps. 🙂

The nav now works, thanks Mark! Solved.
The effects will be a great feature but it can wait 🙂
Now I can modify the look of the nav to my needs. Thanks for the great support and plugin, deserve a 5 star rating. 🙂
