Hi @kendallinternet
I hope you are doing well.
If you are referring to the jQuery updates from recent WordPress versions yes, the Forminator plugin always uses the most recent versions, as long you load the jQuery file before the Forminator enqueue the scripts you shouldn’t have any issue.
The plugin can auto-import the contact 7 forms too.

Hi Patrick,
I’m referring to the major work WordPress is doing to move away from use of legacy jQuery (i.e. 1.x) to a more modern version (i.e. 3.5.1). This is well underway but the latest upgrade was bumped from WP 5.7 – but will surely be introduced soon.
As a developer of many plugins I’m sure your company is only too well aware of these changes.
I need you to confirm that Forminator either doesn’t use jQuery or has been modified already to ensure that can accommodate these forthcoming changes to jQuery in WP – your rival plugin Contact Form 7 failed abysmally to do so and has caused many thousands of contact forms to fail as a result.
If you can’t provide me with the reassurance I seek, then I’ll simply have to look elsewhere for another form solution (luckily there are many available).
I’d appreciate a swift response…
Thanks,
Greg
Hi @kendallinternet
I hope you are doing well.
Forminator does use jQuery to load the front end, however, we always follow the updates made in WordPress and update the libraries to avoid issues, so the form will work as expected using the most recent WordPress changes.
