WP FullCalendar
[resolved] jQuery 1.8.x & curCSS (6 posts)

    Hi there,

I found problems with the calendar not displaying (spinner forever spinning) in WPv3.4.2 using jQuery 1.8.2. and after some investigation trying various fixes (ie plugin to revert JQ to 1.7.x, disabling other plugins, changing my functions.php etc etc which worked btw) I found that the original jQuery Full Calendar plugin has been updated to v1.5.4 and has been re-written to not use curCSS. So I delved further hoping to just drop in the changed JavaScript files and be up and running - but its not that easy as I have to compile/minify the scripts first, apparently. Not only that, but it seems that this plugin uses a separate main.js file with an accompanying fullcalendar.js file.

Its all starting to get a bit messy! So I am requesting that the WP FullCalendar plugin be updated to the latest version of jQuery Full Calendar please (ie v1.5.4), which should stop all the hung calendar displays & other plugin conflict posts on the support forum.

Failing that, could you tell use how to compile the source js for this WP plugin and we can do it ourselves maybe?

Many thanks for all you hard work so far :)

Hi, there's a related thread here:

A workaround is proposed by Christian, I tested it and is working ok, so I created a patch file if you want to use it for the time being, until the wp plugin is updated.
