JPEG external URL links “not holding.”

    @metroxing

    On our blog (hosted on our server), in addition to adrotation ads, I would paste in jpegs that serve as ads at the end of my post – however, I think with the recent upgrade, for some reason, when I copy in URLS that should be hyperlinked when someone clicks on the graphic – instead, it just goes to our JPEG. Even when I try and switch to HTML and manually paste in the link to an external page – as soon as I click UPDATE, it goes BACK to the JPEG link and not to the URL hyperlink? WTH? Thanks.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

    resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
