Hi @surplu
The Tracking link for Japan is set to this:
https://trackings.post.japanpost.jp/services/srv/search/direct?reqCodeNo1=LP103503659JP&searchKind=S002&locale=en
and it leads to the correct tracking page. I am not sure how you got to the other link, it might be a redirect by the customer location.
Just in case, I will remove the last parameters in the URL (&searchKind=S002&locale=en) that are automatically added to the URL and the link will be like this:
https://trackings.post.japanpost.jp/services/srv/search/direct?reqCodeNo1=%number%
The tracking link that AST will generate with the example number you sent:
https://trackings.post.japanpost.jp/services/srv/search/direct?reqCodeNo1=RN007221854JP
Please make sure you using the latest version of AST plugin and Sync your shipping providers list
To sync your shipping list, go to WooCommerce > Shipment Tracking > Shipping Providers and on the top-right dropdown menu, click on Sync Providers. more about Sync providers on our documentation – https://www.zorem.com/docs/woocommerce-advanced-shipment-tracking/setting-shipping-providers/#sync-providers-list
Thanks
@zorem thank you very much for your feedback, it appears that the problem was due to not clicking on “Sync Providers”; this has fixed my problem!
However, could I please ask that you add the locale=en back to the link since most of my customers are from English-speaking countries?
Thank you so much!
Luke.

Umm, usually when someone tracks Korea Post, Wouldn’t they expect the results in EN, when you ship your order to a different country, you can use their local provider that works with the Japan Post for tracking.
Since in some cases, you need to send to EN tracking and in Some Japanese, we need to think of the best solution to solve this on our side. for now, you can add a custom provider for EN tracking with the &locale=en at the end of the URL.
Thanks
Wouldn’t they expect the results in EN
Yes, they would indeed expect the results in English which is why I would like to add the locale=EN back to the link.
I’ll add a custom provider though, no worries.

It appears in your original setup you had the locale to EN, but you said yourself that you removed the last paramaters including the locale.

I know, after changing this URL, I think that it’s better for the tracking link to Japan Post to be in Japanese and not in English, I will check for a solution but for you can create a custom provider and you do not need to wait.
Thanks.
I understand. I set up a custom one more related to my needs.
I really appreciate your help @zorem, thank you very much for making an amazing plugin!

Hi @surplu
Thanks, I will appreciate if you can share your review on the plugin reviews section 🙂
I was thinking about the logic for the Japan Post tracking link, we can check in case of the order shipping country is not JP we will add the locale=en to the URL?
@zorem, that is a fantastic idea! You should definitely implement that! It would work for domestic AND international perfectly!
Leaving a 5* review right now!

Hi @surplu,
We just released the latest version and implement functionality for Japan Post, if the shipping country is not JP we will add the locale=en in the tracking URL.
Thanks,
