JP cached wrong staging URLs into search index, not updated post-migration
-
Hi,
We’re experiencing an issue with Jetpack Search after migrating our site from a staging environment to the live domain.
On staging, our URLs followed this structure:
https://example.com/wordpress/slug
After the migration, the live site now uses clean URLs like:
https://example.com/slugHowever, when we use Jetpack Search, the results still show the old staging URLs (with /wordpress/). It seems Jetpack has cached the staging URLs into the search index, and they have not been updated post-migration.
We believe the solution would be to clear or rebuild the Jetpack search index so it correctly reflects the current live site URLs.
Can you please assist us in resetting or reindexing the search data?
We are currently using the free version of Jetpack Search on our website.
(“The link to the page you need help with” is just one of many incorrect URLs.)
Thanks in advance!
