# Join Filter?

 * I am starting to like PODS. For my application I need Join Filters. I use the
   Relationship option in the field type but that doesn’t give me a filtered join
   option. Maybe it’s there but can t find it. I want to populate my drop down list
   with the filtered options of the field I choose before in the same POD.
 * Example: In the ‘Match’ POD I select ‘season’. After that I want to be able to
   choose only the competitions that are in this specific season.

 * Isn’t there a workaround like a variable field that I can put in the ‘Where’ 
   statement? I’m switching from DB-Toolkit that had this option in it.

 * No, there’s not an option in the UI for the relationship field to join custom
   tables (yet).
 * I have added it to Pods 2.4 though, thanks for your patience.

 * Sorry, to clarify, I added a ‘Customized JOIN’ option for relationship fields.
   This *won’t* be able to let you join based off of currently selected items in
   the UI nor the current Pod itself.
