Support » Plugin: Job Manager » JobManager breaks PolyLang because of filters and actions

  • Hi,

I’m using JobManager and Polylang to translate pages.
Everytime I post a new job vacancy it can’t be shown on the page because it isn’t translated. This is logical since I didn’t translate it.

PolyLang has an option to set all custom_post types to the default language so they are shown on the website.

The problem is that every time I post a vacancy I have to manually set the custom_post type to default language.

I talked to the people from PolyLang and they said that it has something to do that JobManager uses filters and actions wrong.

Somebody gave me this as the actions and filters that were misused.

    Columns:
     manage_edit-${post_type}_columns
     See: https://codex.wordpress.org/Plugin_API/Filter_Reference/

     manage_{$post_type}_posts_custom_column
     See: https://codex.wordpress.org/Plugin_API/Action_Reference

     Metaboxes:
     add_meta_boxes
     See: https://codex.wordpress.org/Plugin_API/Action_Reference/add_meta_boxes

I really hope I make myself clear and I really hope you can relate to this and possibly fix it!

Please if there is any more information you need to ask me.

    Hope to hear soon!
