    I am using the Job Manager plugin for my site and I have mentioned my gmail id to email the applications to. However instead of arriving in my inbox, the application is sent into my spam folder. Could someone please advice if I need to configure something to prevent this?

  • Typically Gmail is pretty smart about ‘learning’ what you do and don’t consider spam.

    Select the applications which have landed in the spam folder and click the “not spam” button. They’ll be transferred to your inbox.

    After a while of doing this they should always land in your inbox. I suspect there’s also a way in Gmail to “whitelist” the address those emails are coming from, but I’ve never had to use it. (off the top of the head I don’t recall if Job Manager sends as the site admin, if it’s configurable, or if it’s the applicant’s email address)

    I use send with applicant’s email address in the FROM field. Now it does show that person’s email address there but there is also a field called via which has always changing email address like

    So I don’t know how to handle this.
