THIS PLUGIN is going to get updated to at least WP 4.0 standards. I just took this over from Gary recently and have been working on putting a team together to help sort out the really pressing issues to bring it up to current code standards. It’s under review status as of today.

I will be making some announcements as well as polling current users on requested features and updates for the road map ahead for this plugin…..so pass it on this, guy has a lot of life left in it.

We will also be moving over to GIT so that others that can contribute, can help us get this back on track were also going to need language support for wpml. So if you are a current user or contributed in the past…we need you to assist.

Stay tuned for more info soon.

Update will happen when it’s ready. Testing takes time…

    Hello team,

Stil desperately waiting for the update, my client is seriously putting me under pressure. Hopefully, you can give us some kind of timeframe or tell us where you are in your testing protocols (don’t mean to pry).

On my side, pretty much all can wait apart from one HUGE problem on the job page displaying applications : I have about 3000 applications in there and after upping every memory setting in PHP / WordPress… The page now crashes indefinitely, just cannot bring it back. Pagination would be a major upgrade.

Even displaying job offerings in the back-office and clicking on a job offer with a small number of applications (9 for instance) doesn’t crashes the applications list page.

I have not upgraded to WP 4. Afraid to further break things.

Many thanks for your hard work.

    Hi Thomas,

I was an active user of this plugin, until support was dropped. Just wanted to know the latest update.

    Thanks.

Were testing now…I know it’s been quite some time but one coder and 1 tester so it takes some time.

    Hello Thomas,

I would like to thank you for this great plugin it works perfectly in my Site .But when i ve started working with the WPML plugins it doesn’t works as expected so I will be happy if you could solve this problem in the new update.

The WPML support could help you to make the job manager compatible through this link : http://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/go-global-program/

    Thanks a lot.

Is there a specific language you are having issues with ? We know that WPML is one of the TOP Priorities ….right now we had some very serious issues we had to correct…do not have exact time frame for WPML correction. It may not make it into this update but it is next on the list.

    Hello Thomas,
The problem is not with a specific language just when I activate the WPML the single job description page appear without content and when I apply for a specific job it didn’t know the Job ID (jobman-jobid=-1).

    Thank you.

Is there a way to get rid of the Next Page link, if I currently have all job postings on one page?

Hello Thomas, I have posted this question in suport side but got no answer why write it back to you
I intend to build a job site for users in Kurdistan, therefore I want to translate plugin to Kurdish, but at the same time I want to use other languages spoken in Kurdistan such as Turkish, Arabic and Persian. I wonder is it possible to use as many languages and switch between them. ? if yes, so how should I go about it
    Thanks in advance

    Hello Thomas,

Could you possibly give us a timeframe now for the next update, even if it’s incremental and small ? The job-manager on our website has completely stopped functionning, probably because of an update on WordPress. Applications are not stored in the database and even emails informing us of a new applications, are not sent. The plugin has become useless and it is the core of our business.

    In advance, many thanks
    Best regards

escrimsher: Yes, go to Page Settings and set Jobs Per Page to (0)

The Pagination is broken and that’s why your observing this.

Pagination is fixed in the next release…we are testing now…it’s been held up for more testing as the release of WordPress 4.1 is imminent.

Hoping to have this out by or before Christmas.

We fully understand the need Translation Services for Job Manger and we will be addressing that in the update documentation we are working on.

We will be asking for contributions from those that can make their translation services available for the community at large.
