    Hi @duckworthc,
Default "shop" page contains all products.
If you want it to show categories as well, there is extension for that: http://www.jigoshop.com/product/category-pages-and-thumbnails/

Hello there is a widget that comes within the Themeforest Refined template with Jigoshop. The product category was working now it is not. Also it looks like when you add the widget jigo category listing on homepage it should bring up categories it does not.

Also does jigoshop allow for sub descriptions...

    Thank you http://www.avp.creativewebweavers.com

    Hi (@duckworthc,
issues with witget that comes with themeforest theme - please contact theme author directly.
sub descriptions - if you mean description for subcategories - yes there is such option in admin panel. It depends on theme if its being visible somewhere on website or not.

Unfortunately only way we could help with external theme issue would be paid support. In case you'd be interested - please contact us via support@jigoshop.com
However, I'd suggest trying to write few more comments/requests on themeforest - hopefully they'd react and save you additional costs!
