Jetpck Install “Unable to communicate with your site “

Trying to install jetpack on my WordPress site but keep on getting this The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site http://www.3ttg.co.uk [HTTP 503]. Ask your web host if they allow connections from WordPress.com. If you need further assistance, contact Jetpack Support: http://jetpack.com/support/

I’m using Cloudflare and freehosting.com. Any help would be great.

Please install Jetpack again on the site so we can take a closer look. It’s not active on the site right now.

Hi –

I think that you still need to follow the SSL guidelines from that link: https://jetpack.com/support/getting-started-with-jetpack/configure-jetpack-cloudflare/

When I load the site it completes as http not https.

Yes, its meant to be http as my hosting has restricted my use of https for now. Does jetpack work with http?

No, you’ll need https. It’s more secure and safer for the site and visitors. I’d suggest using a hosting provider that supports this.
