jetpact 2.7 installation problem after upgrade to wordpress 3.8

in my new site after fresh installation of wordpress 3.8 when i am going to install jetpack 2.7 through admin panel it shows following message.

Installing Plugin: Jetpack by WordPress.com 2.7

Downloading install package from https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/jetpack.2.7.zip…

Unpacking the package…

after that nothing happen.
i have tried so many times but same result.
i tried downloading jetpact 2.7 in computer and upload via admin panel but same result.

(i dont want via ftp)
