    Welcome everybody.

Yesterday I have setup Jetpack and its Post by Email feature on two websites.
It worked well and without problems I sent multiple html emails with JPG files embedded, and they all showed up on the websites.

Today, when I tried the same it never worked again. Posts appear, but the images are missing and email arrives to say that ‘attachments failed’ and ‘Some attachments were rejected from the following WordPress.com Post by Email:

    http://domainaddress.com/en/2015/09/24/test-12/

    – foto1[1].jpg – File is empty. Please upload something more substantial.
    – foto2[1].jpg – File is empty. Please upload something more substantial.
    – foto3[1].jpg – File is empty. Please upload something more substantial. ‘.

I tried different computers, different files, different email clients, updating WP and all plugins, deactivating and resetting Jetpack and Post by Email address.

No help. I cannot upload any attachments by using email.

Can anyone instruct me what happens here and how to resolve this problem?

    Thank you in advance.
    Patrick

    quick followup.

I tried different websites too, they don’t let me upload images neither.

All that these websites have in common is that they all run on same host providers’ servers but on different domain names.

Can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about one of your sites?

    1) Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2) Click on the Debug link appearing at the bottom of the page.
    3) Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4) Fill in the description box and your name and email address.
    5) Click the “Contact Support” button.

    Thanks!

I discovered it was a host issue. The domains needed to be refreshed and that resolved problem with uploading images by Email.
