    Please advise how to deal with this situation.

    JetPack’s Photon module breaks features built in WP Retina 2x (as Photos moves the files away). A common and better alternative to Photon is to use MaxCDN (very popular), CloudFlare or Fastly.

    I get this error soon as I activated the plugin, but after deactivating it, it was gone. I am using the Make theme.

    Hello @masfeb18,

    Many users of WP Retina 2x are also using JetPack’s Photon nowadays. Is it working if you enable everything? Maybe I don’t need to show that error anymore 🙂

    I didn’t checked that part, however for a better overview. I will check this on a test installation of wordpress to see how it goes. Please do’not close this topic until you hear something from me. On my website, error was gone soon as I deactivated the plugin.
