JetpackBackup is not working, no it stucks on closing archives

Hey guys,

the function of jetpack backup is not working right now it stucks on closing archives and the time before it freezes on 0%. Please help.

Hello Michael,

Can you please confirm that you are using JetBackup for WordPress, and not Jetpack? To provide clarification, this is a separate plugin, and if this is the plugin that you are using you can find their support threads here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack/

Hi thanks for your reply.

My fault, it is JetBackup. Not Jetpack.

How we can solve the problem? It stucks and i cannot retry the backup.

Here you can see the freezing error. This status it has since 7 days.

I have the same problem. It’s not advancing since a few weeks and I can’t retry uploading the backup.

After uninstalling and installing the plugin I can click on the button to upload a backup. But the upload of the backup is very slow, not sure if it will work.

Hello Michael,

Can you please try updating to the latest version, v2.0.7, and see if the issue still persists? You can do this by opening WordPress admin -> PLugins -> click on auto-update for Jetbackup plugin and update. Thank you!
