    Can’t get Jetpack to connect after installing thru the add new plugin process. Self-hosted site, A-Fib.com. I even opened and logged into my WordPress.org acct.

    Jetpack uses your site’s XML-RPC file to communicate with WordPress.com. Unfortunately, while we can access the file in a browser, we receive a 400 error whenever we try to connect to that file from a WordPress.com server.

    Do you use a security plugin that may restrict access to the file? If so, you’ll need to configure it to allow incoming and outgoing connections to /xmlrpc.php.

    If you do not use such plugin, you’ll want to contact your hosting provider and ask them if they currently block access to your site’s XML-RPC file.
