 * I installed woocommerce and am trying to hide the jetpack widgets on my store
   pages. I have used the visibility option on each widget but some just will not
   go away and others do. Also, when am able to make one of the widgets disappear
   another one that I am not even using appears in it’s place. I am not a coder
   which is why I use wordpress and jetpack as they are normally so easy for someone
   like myself. here is an example of what I’m talking about [http://wizardofwhere.com/shop/](http://wizardofwhere.com/shop/)
   go to the bottom. I can’t get rid of these widgets. Same trouble on my product
   pages.
 * Thx

 * Currently, the tag cloud widget that I’m seeing (to confirm, that’s one that
   shouldn’t be there), is that listed on your Appearance->Widgets page at all?
 * If so, what are the visibility settings for it? You can take a screenshot too
   if it is easier. Instructions on how to make a screenshot can be found at [http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/](http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/)
 * Thanks!

 * Thanks for your quick reply. I don’t see how to add an attachment for a shapshot
   of the page but as for the widget I used the visibility button and opted for
   it to hide if page was SHOP or CART, or CHECKOUT or MY ACCOUNT. It is not there
   for the others but for SHOP it will not die in fact the time I was able to get
   it to disappear another widget I have never even had on the page appeared CAGETORY

   Anyhow, here is the page that refuses to see things my way [http://wizardofwhere.com/shop](http://wizardofwhere.com/shop)
   As far as the widget they all appear here or actually on all the pages except
   my store pages [http://wizardofwhere.com/](http://wizardofwhere.com/)

 * Sorry about that—it is best to upload it to your site (via Media->Add New) and
   send me a link to that address (or to another photo sharing website).
 * My initial thought is the Shop page isn’t the right setting for that (perhaps
   a post type option, but not sure yet).

 * Actually, disregard the above. With the way Woo implements the Shop page, it
   is actually what’s known as a custom post type archive, which acts differently
   than a regular page in terms of widget visibility.
 * There is a feature request outstanding at [https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/750](https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/750)
   to add the ability to filter based on CPT archives that would solve this for
   you.
 * Until then, I’m afraid it isn’t possible.
 * I’m sorry for the hassle.
 * Cheers!

 * You can add the Widget Logic plugin and enter **is_woocommerce()** into it’s
   field on the widget you want to show only on woo commerce pages.
 * If you want the opposite, use **!is_woocommerce()** to hide widgets on woo commerce
   pages.
 * Widget Logic also works with Jet Pack’s Visibility as well so long al your logic
   is correct.
